Meditation has long been known to bring peace, clarity and a sense of wellbeing. It is a wonderful compliment to yoga and can also stand alone as its own practice. I am so fortunate that my yoga training included a 200-hour certification with Rolf Gates who is passionate about meditation and making it accessible for all. I share this idea wholeheartedly and enjoy honing in on specific methods that resonate with each person. This can involve moving meditation, mindfulness, mantra work and the simple (yet not-so-simple) silent sit.
Journaling can be transformational. The simple act of putting your pen to paper offers up great insights, helps you recognize patterns and connects you with your truth by allowing you to express your feelings. The more you do it the more it serves you! It is a wonderful habit to build.
