Chain Theatre

Luisa is a playwright and theatre-maker. She is a member of Theatre Artists Workshop, Associate Producer at Greenheart Productions, and has a BFA in Musical Theater from The New School, which she is proud to have earned at age 50.

Recent credits include:

Co-producer of Theatre Artists Workshop’s Fall Festival of New Works, where she also directed her original short play, Rain Date, and served as dramaturg for Synchronicity by Susan Jacobson (2025)

Producer of her original one-act play, Potholes, at Chain Theatre in NYC (2025)

Stage Manager and reader for A Night Out by Dan Remmes at Westport Country Playhouse Barn (2025)

Assistant Director for a staged reading And Then There Were None at Powerhouse Theatre in CT (2024)

Her play Potholes was performed at Play With Your Food in Fairfield, Westport, and Greenwich, CT (2024)

Luisa is a contributor to Book Nation by Jen as the resident theatre expert. She has seen over 150 shows since theatres re-opened in late 2021. She is also a performing singer/songwriter with her acoustic duo Twice Around. They have produced 3 albums of original music. Luisa currently serves on the Board of Directors at Theatre Artists Workshop. She has a resume of choreographer, actor, and dancer credits from yesteryear, which she is sure is around here somewhere…
