I love writing in my journal. It is such a magnificent way to process your feelings and it is ALWAYS enlightening to see what comes out of my pen. I recommend journaling to my clients and friends all the time. Writing is not for everyone, I get that. There are many ways to work through emotion and discover surprising things about your self. It is only important that you find what works for you.
But if you are interested, or even curious about journal writing, taking a workshop is a just plain great! You never have to stare timidly at a blank page, instead you are given a starting point each day. You find yourself carving out time for writing because you have committed to it for the duration of the workshop. You get to write alone and for yourself and yet you can also connect with other journalers in a warm and supportive online environment!
